Malta Fireworks Festival 2006

Following the success of the previous four editions of the Malta Fireworks Festival held in Grand Harbour, the Ministry for Tourism and Culture in association with the Malta Tourism Authority presented the first edition of the Malta International Fierworks Festival.

This new event was guaranteed to delight all those attending as it was a showcase of the best pyrotechnical displays produced not only by  Maltese enthusiasts, whose craft derives from hundreds of years of experience in the field, but also by internationally acclaimed pyrotechnic firms.

This event also commemorated the 2nd anniversary of Malta's entry into the European Union.

The festival was held at the Grand Harbour in Valletta on the 29th and 30th April 2006.
